Hi Everyone,
We had a snowstorm last Saturday. It snowed about six inches at our house, and we lost power for two days. Really fun stuff! Saturday night and Sunday weren't too bad - we stayed under blankets on the couch and read books until it got dark and cooked dinner by candlelight/flashlight. (Finally, I actually used some of those those darn decorative candles I got as wedding gifts!) By Monday morning, we were ready for hot showers, so we took ourselves, and all the stuff in our freezer, to Emily's house. The power was on again before we got back from work on Monday.
We're feeling pretty lucky, because there are still a few people in western Massachusetts and parts of Connecticut who don't have their power back, and some of my friends at work didn't get their power back until Wednesday or Thursday last week.
